Toddler Education Program (1–3 Years)

At Wiggles & Words Academy, our Toddler Education Program is designed to support growing curiosity, movement, and independence during this exciting stage of discovery. As children begin walking, climbing, and exploring their surroundings, our program provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that encourages both physical and cognitive development.

During the toddler years, children rapidly develop language, motor coordination, social-emotional awareness, and problem-solving skills. Through guided play, storytelling, music, and hands-on learning experiences, they begin using one- to two-word phrases, exploring art with crayons and other creative materials, and developing self-feeding skills while learning healthy mealtime routines.

Our teachers also nurture emerging self-help and social skills by encouraging children to express their needs, participate in clean-up routines, share with others, follow simple directions, and build confidence through everyday acts of independence. Each day is thoughtfully planned to provide the perfect balance of active exploration, early learning, and caring guidance, helping every toddler grow into a confident, curious learner.

At Wiggles & Words Academy, we celebrate each milestone and encourage toddlers to learn through play, discovery, and meaningful experiences that build a strong foundation for future success.

Child-to-Teacher Ratio:

• 1–2 Years: 6:1 
• 2–3 Years: 11:1

• Wiggle the Wise Worm – exploring and problem-solving through discovery play.
   
•  Maxie the Monkey with Manners – practicing kindness, sharing, and simple routines.
   
• Abby the ABC Butterfly – beginning early literacy through songs and stories.
   
•  Bouncy Bella the Bunny – developing coordination and fitness through movement and outdoor fun.

•  Sofia the Spanish-Speaking Parrot – building early communication through Spanish and basic sign language.  
   
•  Doodle Dee the Dragonfly – discovering colors, shapes, and textures through creative play.
