At Wiggles & Words Academy, our Infant Development Program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where the earliest stages of growth and learning begin.

During infancy, children develop essential motor, sensory, and cognitive skills through guided exploration and intentional interactions. Our caregivers thoughtfully incorporate tummy time, gentle stretching, and leg and arm exercises to promote strength, coordination, and early mobility. These activities lay the foundation for balance, body awareness, and hand-eye coordination—key components of future developmental milestones.

As infants grow and develop, our caregivers focus on building core strength, encouraging emerging movement such as rolling over, crawling, reaching, and eventually pulling up. We also foster emotional development through loving interactions, responsive care, and consistent daily routines. Infants begin to recognize familiar faces, form secure attachments, and develop early communication skills through sounds, gestures, facial expressions, and joyful babbling.

Our classrooms are filled with age-appropriate sensory experiences, music, books, and opportunities for exploration that encourage curiosity and early learning. Every activity is intentionally planned to support each child's unique developmental journey while providing a loving, secure environment where they feel safe to grow and thrive.
